# Search

To search transcripts there are two options 

1. [Search within a transcript](/autoedit-3-user-manual/1.2.1/paperediting/search/search.md). 
2. [Search across transcripts in a project ](/autoedit-3-user-manual/1.2.1/paperediting/search/search-across-transcripts-in-a-project.md)

When you [search within a transcript ](/autoedit-3-user-manual/1.2.1/paperediting/search/search.md)you can also highlight and annotate the text, as well as double click on text to see corresponding media (audio/video).
