# Uninstalling

For uninstalling the app on the mac use [app cleaner](https://freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/).

Note that the app does not save any data internally so you don't risk losing anything uninstalling it.

Uninstalling the app does not uninstall [Aeneas](/subtitles-composer-app/installing.md#extra-dependency-aeneas). Unfortunately that's more complicated.
